Hello Everyone!!
My name is Sara.. I'm a 27 year old mother to two boys.. Mack turned 2 on Christmas Day, and Asa Wyatt joined our Family on December 15th. He is a little over 2 months old now. I've just started back to work (today is actually my first day:bawl: ) after being on Maternity leave for 9 weeks..
I breastfeed so I feel like I haven't gotten anything done today with having to excuse myself to pump every few hours.. but, hey, you gotta do what you gotta do for the baby!! I miss them, but they are in good hands.. they stay with my mother during the day, and Mack goes to K-2 3 days a week.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and hope to learn a lot from you all.

Welcome! I can't imagine how hard it must be to go back to work. At least you got a pretty good maternity leave. Most places you are lucky to get 4-6 weeks! Good for you to be willing to keep pumping for that little one :-)

Hi Sara.
I also work out of the home and have been pumping at work for almost 4 months. It does get easier. I pump twice a day and get between 10 to 15 ounces. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

The first day back is always the hardest! I swear I leaked ALL THE TIME! Funny story...I work in a Neonatal ICU and I was leaned over a very tiny baby (like 1 or 2 pounds) trying to do some procedure or fix the bed or something, and I felt something trickling down my belly. I leaned up and milk was just practically pouring out of me all over the bed and myself! It only got on the linen and not on the baby or any of her equipment thank goodness, but I had to excuse myself to go pump after that!!
I am due in about 2 weeks now and I just found out this weekend I have more time off saved at work than I thought so hopefully I will get to be off as long as you or maybe even longer
Welcome to the forums!

Hello Sarah! And :welcome3:
Welcome Sarah. I will be headed back to work in a week and a half. :bawl: I will have been off 9 weeks as well. I'm definitely not looking forward to it. It's nice to see other working mamas here.

Hi, I am a newbie also. Great job on pumping, I pumped for my oldest son for almost 4 months because we had bf issues, it took us that long for him to figure out how to nurse.
