So we are closing on our house at the end of this month and we want to get a play system for the backyard. We had a SAMS play gym in our last house and don't want to go that route again the plastic stuff that went around the wood cracked and was a PAIN in the :moon: sticking and scraping the kids.

SO Costco's is really nice and we were thinking about going that route.. But I also looked at Rainbow and Backyard Adventures and I am wondering what kind of advice you other more experienced mommies could give to me.

Obiviously from my siggy you can see I have three boys.. SO I am going to need some GOOD equipment!

TIA..

Get one like mine! You've seen it! We are supposed to finally get it all put together this weekend, assuming dad is still coming up from B'ham to help!

Ours is the Sky Ranch playcenter from Big Backyard.

the costco one is made by Rainbow-- it is a subsidiary company. I know that Rainbow itself has a great warranty.

oh Creative Playthings is the other company that I can think of that have similar sets. I would probably choose rainbow, because I love that you can add to the set over time, but they are super pricey

HEY do you think that I could buy rainbow stuff and add it to the Costco one.. since they are made by the same people?

It's running now... I went to look this morning!

That reminds me! At certain points throughout the year, they put all their demo sets on clearance and great price reductions! You can call and ask when their next sale will be and if you get the teenage guy (at Jordan Rainbow), he'll even give you the actual sales prices. ;)

Hmmm, we've had one from Sam's for over a year now and we've not had any problems with ours.

we got it shortly after moving into our house and were there for 2 years.. so it was still what i consider "new".

THE Costco one looks awesome and much cheaper than going straight to rainbow.

I doubt that you can add stuff straight from Rainbow, but the Costco one is too great of a deal.. I know we want to come play. :o)

The sets are so well-constructed that they are "approved" for adult use, too! LOL! We have a Rainbow one and I have "tested" it many times! HAHA!
