Shan and I went to see Children of Men. I absolutely loved it. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen. A bit hard to watch at times, but the overall message -without our children we are doomed- was awesome. There was one point that made me tear up. I read the book before the movei came out and love dit, too, though it was ery different than the movie.

It was directed by Alfonso Cuarón who also directed the third Harry Potter movie (Prisoner of Azkaban).

What good movies have you seen recently?

Ooh, I'll have to see that one.

The Departed was awesome, as was Little Miss Sunshine (we saw this when I was pregnant - I almost laughed the baby out!) and School for Scoundrels was pretty funny, too.

We saw the Pursuit of Happiness just a few weeks ago. It had an awesome message.

Night At the Museum. It was much better than I expected. We really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it for families. :)

Oh yeah, Pursuit of Happyness was awesome. We watched The Lake House last night, that was pretty good.

I think this is on Netflix list. DH isn't too thrilled, but I really wanted to see it.

We just saw The Blindside the other night, and I loved it.

Ditto Heather! The Blind Side exceeded my expectations. I laughed and cried! It was great.

We also watched The Lovely Bones. It was pretty good too, but very sad.

Sherlock Homes was surprisingly good.
