Exchange students!

As some of you know, I volunteer to place exchange students in the area. This is the time of year I start looking for host families for the upcoming school year. These students are high school students and need a home for 6 weeks, a semester, or the full academic year. It is a lot of fun to host and very educational for your kids. Mine love to host. We have students from Germany, Russia, to Asia--pretty much anywhere you could imagine. A host family needs to be able to provide the student a bed (they can share a room) and a way to school (they can ride the bus). In return the students are expected to be part of your family and do chores. I do start early looking for families since many schools will fill up quickly and will run out of spots to take a student.
